REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:
1. Please submit separate registrations for separate acts. (Ex.: one for your band, one for your solo, one for your troupe-mate’s solo, etc.) Indicate in the comments section which is a first preference for performance. If we can fit in both / all acts, we will consider it.
2. Submit an Introduction for your performance. Include a legible (in English, please) 3”x5” card, with your registration form and fee, to be used for your act. Keep it brief - the audience doesn’t like to be kept waiting…À. Shameless plugs are allowed, but once again brief is better.
3. Be sure to fill out your registration completely and neatly. Illegible or incomplete forms will not be considered.
Use “N/A” to indicate if a line is not applicable to you. No blanks, please. Thank you.
DAY OF THE FESTIVAL:
CHECK-IN – Please check in at least one hour prior to your curtain call, and please be prepared for inconsistencies, i.e.) another troupe’s car has a flat and they will be late….etc.
MUSIC FORMAT – Dancers: if using canned music, please bring us one format only (preferably a CD, but cassette is doable). Deliver your music when you check in, and please place it all on ONE tape or CD to prevent confusion. Musicians: be sure to indicate # of microphones and/or chairs needed, special staging instructions, etc. in the Comments section above.
AUTOGRAPH BOOTH – The plan is to have an autograph booth available for those who wish to participate. If you wish, you may have a time slot after your performance designated to go do a Meet’n’Greet. This is a perfect opportunity to promote your latest CD, or Dance Event!

The purpose of DAME fest is to educate the community, bridge cultural boundaries, and promote good will and acceptance for our future generations.
